The staff thought long and hard this morning and came up with a list of the top 10 reasons YOU should come to Open Mic Night tomorrow and bring all your friends!

10.

Homemade (that's an important word for college students) coffee house yummies - cookies, brownies, & more!

9.

Drink too much coffee and stay up late... just because you can!

8.

Get your 15 minutes of fame... well, 5, but you get the idea  (email us TODAY for details on performing!)

7.

All your friends (or future friends) will be there

6.

Your mom won't be there  (no offense, moms)

5.

Coffee so good it'll make you wanna slap yo' mama... but she won't be there!

4.

Amazing performances by local artists in every genre

3.

Even if all the acts suck, it's better than being in your dorm room!

2.

Avoid being the only person without awesome plans for Labor Day - find out what Chi Alpha is doing at Open Mic Night!

And the #1 Reason YOU Should Come to Open Mic Night is...

Because Aaron & Joy are singing a duet!

The bottom line:  If all you Java Jacks don't wanna be Tabu, pass up Starbucks and head to REfill Cafe!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday.  Classes will be starting up again tomorrow and then it's just a few short weeks until the end of the semester.

Derrick, Katelyn, and I wanted to send you guys an update personally.  I know many of you are just beginning to hear what's been happening with Katelyn over the weekend.  We are sorry for the delay in getting the word out to you guys.  Everything happened within a matter of hours and we've had limited time to send updates even to our families.  Thank the Lord for Internet and text messages!

To read the full story of what's happened, you can go to our blog:  derrickandashley.com, Katelyn's Story.  We are also posting updates there as we have them, so if you want to follow her progress, that's the place to go.  For a shorter update, click Read More.
